Alan Abraham
Alan Abraham was born in Washington, DC. Alan completed his undergraduate degree at Tulane University and his graduate degree at George Washington University. Alan met his wife, Lisa Bower, in 1992 and moved to Boxford, MA where he raised his three children, Brant, Trevor, and Madison. He could be found on the sideline of every one of his children’s sports games growing up. Alan’s greatest pride outside of his children is his philanthropic work. He founded the ALS Therapy Alliance partnering with CVS to help raise over $34 Million in 13 years for ALS research and awareness. He established an endowed scholarship in Neurosurgery at Mass General Hospital in 2021. Alan is an avid Boston sports fan and a supporter of Boston College football with a strong passion for history and politics. His favorite author was David Halberstam. Upon selling his house in 2021 he moved alongside his wife Lisa, his English Bull Dog, Kooper and his French Bull Dog Harley Quinn, to Dennis, MA on Cape Cod where he enjoys spending time on the beach, reading, and exploring the local restaurants.
