Cold Harbor Brewing Company had their official ribbon cutting ceremony on August 5, 2023. Congratulations to Will & Jen Oliveira on their vision to construct a 12,400 sq ft building on a 2.7-acre parcel located on Otis St in Westborough, MA. This expansion was made possible with the financial assistance of Avidia Bank and Granite State Development Corp’s SBA 504 loan program.

Their current tap room was expanded to a 192 Seat-Inside Restaurant and 76 Seat-Outside Beer Garden. In addition to Cold Harbor Brewery’s craft beer, they have a full liquor license and will serve pizza, burgers, sandwiches, light entrees, salads, and desserts. Will & Jen started the brewery in 2014 and the business has grown steadily to the point where they had outgrown their original 2,000 sq ft manufacturing and tap room space. In addition to the new building, they added an automated beer canning line which has the capacity to fill 2,000 cans per hour! The new canning line will produce instant cash savings by replacing their former process.

The SBA 504 program allowed our borrowers dream to become a reality! The program allowed our borrower to only contribute 10% of the project versus 20 or 25%. The SBA 504 – 40% percent portion of the project will be funded with a 25-year fixed rate loan which will keep their payments stable.
