Vermont Salumi

Bringing his memories of summers spent in Italy home to his native Vermont, Peter Roscini Colman of Vermont Salumi, uses centuries old traditions and techniques to create specialty meats. GSDC helped Peter to acquire the building which houses Vermont Salumi’s production and its co-business AR Market.
Vermont Salumi is an artisan producer of all-natural meat products rooted in Italian tradition and the classic salumificio. Produced on-site and offered for sale (in-store and mail order) are artisan salami, sausage, salami slicing bats, and whole muscle meats.
Co-operating company Roscini, LLC dba AR Market, located in the front section of the subject building, brings artisanal Italian meats and a fine selection of local and Italian staples, including locally sourced produce, meats, groceries, wine, beer, and everything needed to recreate an Italian-inspired meal at home. In addition, there is a wine and charcuterie bar open on Friday nights. The store opened its doors in 2020 and has developed a strong customer base and a following in the community.
